I've noticed that there are quite a few professors out there who come across as unconcerned/rude/arrogant- I don't think it's uni specific. Though there are also some really nice ones out there as well. You just have to hope that you get the good ones

lol i emailed her 8 days ago. She said that because she was retiring in january she couldn't help me, and not to contact her.Then she said uni was closed until january 22nd. SO with transfers being due in on january 4 she er wasn't helpful

yeah I've looked on the law website. thing is it has transfer application form but someone's de-linked it-so it's not clickable. Grrrr....can't believe student enquiries closed till the 2nd....i no it's holidays but it's stressful

Dunno if u've read the post about the unsw nrsl law cut off generally being lower than the university of syd's. Might not be in 2008, but if u don't get into syd, unsw has a good rep too. Good luck :)

I think it depends on the type of exam. If it's english-hell no-seeing as u need to write as much as u can in the time frame-which is usually a lot-and to write a lot u need to remember stuff really quickly. But with short answer questions, where you have more time to rack your sleep-deprived...

unfortunately the main word is "minimum"......it's a pretty dodgy description in a sense b/c things are often much more competitive than that....i don't know anyone who's gotten a flat gpa of 2 and a uai of 90 and gotten into law at mq.....in a lot of ways some of the descriptions in the mq hand...

that's pretty good. I was thinkin if i don't get into mq law, i can do it at uws. Do a yr of arts/law there, then try again for mq, hoping they'll look at my uws results, rather than my gpa from mq...............yea that probably sounded confusing sorry :(

lol...i was excited until I logged onto e-student and realised I had outstanding library fines...so that was an anti climax

I stopped working there about 2mnths ago....and no none of the stores( as far as I know) let you take the uniforms out of the store. Apparently it cost money because people who took them home (part timers I think) could ask for the washing fees back from the company... it was costing maccas...
