When you drop something in the exam, can you pick it up if its next to you or do you HAVE to let the supervisor come around and pick it up?

Well they didn't say antyhing but when we went into the exam room of the school next to us (we go to their school to sit the hsc exams) they didn't tell us of the layout. In english paper 1 they had advanced one side, and standard the other side, with the a's in the middle and z's on either side...

On an english exam, l started from the front box, so l had one left at the end. Now l just write them in from the end and start in the end box.
