Agreed. About 1200-1300 is a good size. You can write in about 40-45 minutes.

In the reading time how about. 1-2 minutes reading the creative and essay questions. Then the rest read the texts get the techniques and notions of belonging. That will cut you down time.

Bio would be mid 80's physics 82-83 chem 80-81. Seriously just do your best dont waste time worrying about it. You will get a great result nevertheless.

I found the 2007 paper harder then the 2006. A 70 in that would of given you a mid to high band 5 but no chance 90+. A 78 in 2007 is a good mark and yeh would def be around band 6 range.

Does it take 50minutes to do short answers :O For trial i rushed shorts answer like less then 20 mins and got 12/15. But yeh i bs last question lol and dropped 2 marks.

I was speaking with my mate discussing how we should approach this paper and it got me thinking what you guys do. I got my belonging story which is approx 750 words which i can write in about 20-25 minutes. Should i knock that off first? or do short answers which will take me no more then 30...

Perfect my story is really emotive and humanised :D Hopefully i pull a good mark.

My teacher wouldnt let me do a Standard text that tied perfectly for Conflicting Perspectives. I spoke to serveral other teachers from other schools they said 'Any text is as good as any another' In other words your allowed to.

Problem is there is no past questions :(

Im sure you will be able to adapt your creative to the question. And so what if it is. Doesnt change your story completely.

I dont really mind just want a band 5. Because at the moment it doesnt even look like thats going to happen.

Depends on the way they were marked. We were marked hard and got around 60% all up for trial. So it depends.

I dont memorise. If you dont know them by the time you walk into the HSC exam i'd be worried :/
