    i was under the impression that universities cannot set pre reqs on university courses, all they could do was give suggestions (like you should have done MX1 if you want to do engineering) if u have received the offer, accept it and worry about it later

    if you are doing a combined degree of mech eng/comp sci you will take comp1917 and you will not take comp1911 you can think of it like this. comp1911 is like 2u math and comp1917 is like 2u + 3u. they cover the same stuff, but comp1917 goes into more detail

    im guessing that with only 3 subjects you probably got > 1000 timetables which reduces the effectiveness of the program honestly, I dont think 3 commerce subjects is the target market, more like 4 engineering subjects
