Odd question from a Yr 11 student.

may i just remind you that 50% of your mark is for your major work, 50% for the reflection statement. the RS is where the continual, methodical and systematic research thingy comes in so its great if you have a good basis for your story, but thats only half the work

Odd question from a Yr 11 student.

i agree with what has been said. you can use it if you really think it is good, but you will have to work on it. just remember that EE2 is a whole 1 unit. think about how much work you do for english advanced and half that. that would probably be about the minimum amount of work you should...

    university syllabus?

yep, the smaller courses dont even release their syllabus till right before the classes start because the lecturer decides in the lead up what they will teach. so its really hard to know exactly what will be taught and what wont be. in some cases it is just a list of topics

    Question time...

if you dont want a silly answer, dont ask a silly question, or something along those lines what kind of employer are we walking about here? is the major directly related to the job? if so, wouldnt think there would be much difference. post grad courses are usually the equivalent of 3rd/4th...

I want to write a story. But about what?

id be careful. while alcalder did give some good advice, the idea must be done right. IMO, all of your ideas are things that you came up with by saying "what if". as in, most are "something going on in your life or around you" and you have asked"What if?". so if you are asking "what if", make...

    Drawing Inverse Functions

another, more archaic method, is to turn the sheet over, from left to right just like you would turn the page of a book, then rotate it 90 degrees and hold it up to the light. that it what your inverse function should look like this method is easier if sometimes as you can just copy what...

Just graduated Year 11. Where to get started with Year 12 personal study?

well you could find out what texts you will be studying for english next year and read through those. thats always a good start. it also helps for when later as you can read through them again with your class a 2nd time, but since you already know the story you can start to analyse the text...

Equation(s) you believe have had much influence.

I really like this thread, but i think it has lost a bit of its magic. first we got a formula relating to pokemon and runescape. but distributivity? seriously?

Equation(s) you believe have had much influence.

why would you memorise all that? i cannot think of a plausible situation where you couldnt just look the formula up on the net and therefore would need to know that formula off the top of your head

    Prepared essays for english

memorising an entire essay = failure your essay probably wont even be good enough to get a mark of 18+/20. so you are memorising a sub par essay. and even if your essay is a top quality essay, guarenteed 19+/20, then the essay would be useless to memorise, because the only time an essay is...

    Exam Problem - Major Issue

ummm, what are you competing for? caused it'd have to be proper for it to be accepted anyway, i do know that protocol is in place, so that if you have a clash, then you will sit one exam in the morning, and a supervisor will guard you for the 2 hour break, and then you come back in and sit...

    Is Engineering for Me?

well it does depend on what you are considering Uncle. for example, comp eng, elec eng, and telecom have identical 1st year courses, so youd be fine doing flexible 1st year if those are your choices but no matter which eng program you sign up for, im fairly sure that 1st semester for all...

Equation(s) you believe have had much influence.

Bayes' Theorem P(A|B) = \frac{P(B|A)P(A)}{P(B)} Where P(A|B) is the probability of A, given that B is true In the last week, I've learnt about this theorem in 2 separate courses (math and phil) and after that, by coincidence, I learnt that it has relavence to my 2 other courses...
