Oh man I have had an insanely productive day. Have written an entire design doc for our group project, researched implementation details for graph libraries and generalised everything in the research paper we were given to our problem domain.
Reading a paper on information content on graphs. Idea is that we generalise the ideas raised in this paper to genetic regulatory networks to the point where we can properly analyse the e-coli network, and if we can do that we quite probably get published. Love bio stuff.
Learn. Pick up some skills. Build their own machines. Work for less than the cost of maintaining a machine.
There's always going to be menial labour which is better done by human than machine. Bricklaying, for instance.
There's the line between being emotionally abusive (which you can't/shouldn't be able to prosecute) and having a reasonable apprehension of physical harm (which should, of course, be a crime).
