so qtac offers are out tomorrow. i've applied for courses through both qtac and uac. i was wondering if i can accept my qtac offer tomorrow whilst i wait for my uac one. if i get into my uac course can i also accept that and then go back and withdraw my qtac? or is accepting my qtac going to...

uq meets all of your criteria apart from the surf. but really all of the qld unis are not near the surf apart from griffith i guess but it sucks. go to uq. the surf is less than an hr away on the highway :)

at info day they said the cutoff would prob be around 97 and there will only be 15 places.

it must be really hard to get a usyd scholarship! i got a 97.00 and didn't even get shortlisted! congrats to everyone who was luckier!

do you think the usyd cutoff will go up? do you think i'll be ok with a 97.00 UAI?

i know it totally sucks right? it's a thing they brought in this year with the new principal. they aren't giving official offers out until you accept your usyd offer so they don't have to deal with people declining ect. it's really annoying!

Yeah i think i've been trying to deny this. We are at completely different maturity levels. I'm just scared of regretting it afterwards, I mean he's been a major part of my life for a pretty long time!

Well, I just found out that my boyfriend secretely went to schoolies. I went away (a place not related with any schoolies celebrations) with a few girlfriends and was under the impression that he was just staying at home because he had told me back in september that "i cancelled schoolies...

I emailed them and they said I'd be contacted in the next few days to organise a time. Apparently the have had a record number of applications this year. I think I'll go for a phone interview. Do you think a phone interview is a disadvantage?

If by "gollywog" you're referring to the "nitro" guy he doesn't need to go to uni. he's made quite a name for himself on the surfing circuit and is sponsored by billabong. and i highly doubt that it was at usyd... the show is filmed at QTQ channel 9 in brisbane and they never really film...

Yep there are no real preq subjects just the uai. Just a warning though... if you are not artistic you will struggle. A large portion of this course is drawing. At the start of first year there is a great definition between those students with a talent for design and those who, sadly, are going...
