first here! i play piano (9 years, passed AmusA in may this year) and viola (almost 2 years, doing 6th grade this saturday). and i sing as well, although not doing grades. i play mainly classical, and i love jazz but i suck at it, haha. viola power! :lol:

hi, just wondering whether it would smarter/easier to go for straight med at unsw or combined music/med or arts/med at usyd. in the end i want to be a doctor, so the extra music or arts wont really be of much use to me in the future. but would it be easier to get in (even though they say 99.95...

40mins is not much, lol. get used to it. 7:30 2x a week for MX2, and arvos til 4:30 for german ext. that effectively means the 6:47 bus in the mornings. not to mention orchestra on two of my other mornings. farewell, sleep.

yeah viola isnt so popular around here. although i have no idea why. i never started with violin. just heard about the viola and decided to start it last year after finishing 8th piano. :) we have 9 violists at my school. pretty impressive . :D

finished piano AMusA in may thank goodness. (after failing once..) BUT have my viola 6th grade in 2 weeks. can't wait to do all that clapping rhythms in aural again :P
