I'm in the same boat as you, OP. I had a few chances to talk to new people, during the campus tour, and the orientation lecture, but for some reason, I got shy -__- I do know some people (from my old school) going to my campus, but I think they're all doing different courses.

I know someone who did similar subjects, including Visual Arts, and she ended up with a 95> ATAR. Just do as well as you can; apply yourself to each of your subjects, even the ones considered a "bludge", and scaling will not matter.

Come HSC time, let's see if you no longer care.

I'm looking forward to uni, since I've been feeling pretty useless these holidays. Also, I've gained a few kilos since the end of HSC. I'm gonna be the fatty of uni :(

It's usually preferred if your related text is a different medium to your prescribed text. However, I do know of people who talked about two books, or two poems, in their essays, so maybe it depends on the marker?

I don't remember seeing that in the syllabus =/

Also, does anyone know if, once we've finished registering, we get a printable timetable from the UWS website? Or do we just make our own timetables? I already made up my own, ages ago, so it doesn't really worry me too much; just curious.

3 down, 1 to go. Got all the times I wanted :) Was too busy worrying about tutorials, that I completely forgot to register for lectures. Luckily, I was able to log back in without any lag.

Whoa, so we really do need to log in right on time. Does it sometimes open a bit earlier than what is shown? Like, UAC said that our uni offers would be available at 9PM, but we were able to access them around 10 minutes earlier.
