Section I was fine, Section II was really unexpected (I had to change so many parts of my essay), and I had a mental blank during Section III. Damn Billy Elliott. :mad1:
I did the essay first, because my mind was still fresh and I was less likely to forget stuff, reading task second, because it was a pain in the arse and I just wanted to get it done, and creative writing last, because I wanted to finish off the exam on a high note.
We weren't allowed to write our student numbers and exam centre number before or after, had to be during the exam. But I was fine with that, I finished the exam about 10 minutes early, but others weren't as fortunate and got told off by the supervisors for writing after "pens down".
Bit annoyed at how we only had to write about one related text when I had prepared for two. I think I BSed about two pages worth of stuff to make my essay longer.
Anyone know what the technique was in the first text? The one where all these people had hands on top of each other? Because I was going to do that one for the last question, and I spent about 5 minutes looking for a technique, so I was like "stuff it". and went with the third and fourth texts.
I guess the only thing you could do, OP, is to maybe shorten the length of your essay by a bit by taking out redundant sentences, or just keep practising until your hand falls off.
After the last "pens down", I'll have this huge smile on my face, and I'll feel like dancing, because I'll be freeeee!! But I probably won't.
Seriously, though, imagine what a huge relief it'll be to be done with the HSC forever. I can't wait.
I learn my essays almost word for word, and adjust some of the sentences according to the question. If I don't memorise my essays, I'd be completely lost in the exam.
whywhywhy?
I think the only time piercings look stupid and ugly is when a person has WAY too many of them. You know, those people who have their nose, eyebrow and tongue pierced, as well as having a few extra in their ears? Completely unnecessary and ugly.
I like wearing trackies, they're really comfortable. I even wear them out sometimes, and I don't care what other people think of my dress sense. At least I'm not wearing really tight tights as pants, where my arse flab is clearly visible to all those who stand or walk behind me :D
Hahaha
I wonder if that would actually work?
Some people here do so much exercise. Makes me feel unfit. The only exercise I did today was jog for 20 minutes, then I got bored and ate a calorie-laden piece of chocolate mudcake afterwards. Then I felt guilty. :(
