    Does God exist?

Maybe the analogy of family is better? A father can love his children but his children can still be jerks to him. Fair enough. Probably frustrating why didn't God force us to love him and make it impossible for us not to follow him. Although, it comes down to whether God is responsible for...

    Does God exist?

I don't think the existence of unbelievers proves the non-existence of God. It is like saying the existence of capitalists (non-commies) proves that communism doesn't exist. Nor does it put a blemish on his character. A good king is still good even if his subjects are totally rebellious and jerks.

When are you deciding on which University?

I didn't like UNSW, and USYD was ok. So I have ended up at UOW. Free buses, and only 20 minutes max to get to uni (because I live in town).

    Limiting reagent

I think that is a mistake in 23(a). The equation is not balanced. Should be 2KI not KI. I have updated the file above, with the correction. :) Also added this note: Note on Q23(b) The explanation isn't super clear. While the number of moles is less for Pb(NO3)2. Twice as many moles of KI...

    Past Paper efficiency

I think it is good that you are doing preparation for your yearlies. It is ok to be hitting the 50-70% range especially if the papers are harder. For physics and chemistry, do you have a good understanding of your content first? May also be helpful to consult a teacher/tutor with the marking...

    2002 HSC help

    Hi, According to the question pre-amble. You are given in CIS form, z_4 z_4 $=$ \cos{(\alpha + 4 \beta)} + i \sin{(\alpha + 4 \beta)}. This means that |z_4|=1 Given that z_4 = -OP_3 \Rightarrow |z_4|=|OP_3| \Rightarrow |OP_3|=1.

Individuals have till August 24th to sign up to vote in the postal plebiscite

    a) This is drawing a tenuous link between one thing and another Hardly, look at the US & Canada, even the UK. There are some things about the way that this is pushed using the exact same rhetoric and line of reasoning. While those who are of the "don't give a jatz cracker" camp when it comes to...

Individuals have till August 24th to sign up to vote in the postal plebiscite

Also an interesting read, snapshots from the 1984 Sex act, which is really well said, that kind of is helpfully to remember in this. (Avoids a lot of issues, and also nullifies a lots of objections from both the "yes" camp to current practice, and "no" camp to proposed changes/pushes) 7B...

Individuals have till August 24th to sign up to vote in the postal plebiscite

The article posted by the Conversation and reposted by the ABC, from Trinity college in Melbourne is hardly accurate, and is just trying to jump fences in my opinion. I wouldn't think it is reliable in its interpretation of the Bible (reading ideas of convenience and weird argumental logic and...

Individuals have till August 24th to sign up to vote in the postal plebiscite

Maybe it is because they don't speak up, because as soon as they do - no-one will listen or there is presumptions of bigotry, homophobia or hate speech. Accusations and assertions made, often with emotional stories and political rhetoric on both sides - this definition debate (which is really...

Yes. Precipitation occurs because not all ionic compounds are soluble and that results in an insoluble compound being precipitated, (if the separate ions are added together in solution). have a look at http://www.harpercollege.edu/tm-ps/chm/100/dgodambe/thedisk/chemrxn/pickppt.htm
