Commonwealth bank has a pretty good student card. Not sure of all the details, but its very very cheap. Also, I have a mastercard debit with CBA, and it's pretty cool, i can shop online and all that with my own money, but it is kind of bad me having greater access to money lol

I dont think the points where if you get a band 6 you get three bonus points would count. And im not 100% sure, but i think they applied some sort of bonus thing for selecting students from regional areas.
