    Chemistry Exam Predictions/Thoughts

What I can notice with this year's exam is that they've definitely put a bigger emphasis on maths calculations in the SAQs ... also looking at this year's exam and my exam last year, I'd say last year's one seems easier.

    Paranoia

That is quite a weird feeling, as after I had finished my exams, relief and joy was what I was feeling; definitely not paranoia. No need to think about it now; just enjoy your holidays (around 3 months of it)

So for question one, you want to find the number of beats per hour, then multiply this by the volume per beat. So 78 beats per minute would be 78 * 60 = 4680 beats per hour. Then applying the 90 mL/beat, we know that the volume of blood would be 4680 * 90 = 421,200 mL, or 421.2L of blood in an...

I don't feel like I am learning anything from my English tutoring...

What you may want to do, instead of changing tutors (which may be inconvenient for yourself and your parents), can be to strictly tell the tutors what you want from them. They should be teaching to your standards and exactly what you want, not the other way around. If they are taking too much...

    Study Timetable and Organisation Help

Well, it looks like you've identified the subject which you need to spend extra time on. Just make sure that with 'studying', it's active recall and not just reading notes or reading a textbook, which aren't going to be useful to you at all. In my opinion, the best time to read notes is the...

You're right in getting x^2 - 2x + 2. So finding the discriminant, which is -4, will tell you that the quadratic has 2 complex roots. Through working out, you can complete the square and write it as x^2 - 2x + 1 + 1, or (x - 1)^2 + 1 = 0. From there, you should be able to get the last 2 roots...

I think it's definitely great you are trying to get some exercise for Year 11 and 12. That's something that looking back on, I wished I had implemented into my daily routine; it's definitely very relaxing from an intense study session and also has its mental benefits, as per research has shown...

True ... it's pretty sad how 3 seasons ago, they were in the Champions League final and now, they're struggling to qualify from their group. Even guys like Kane have been awful in the league, like it doesn't mean anything to score against San Marino and Albania.

Speaking of upsets, Tottenham may not even qualify from their Europa Conference group, losing to Mura.

I found a technique called 'cross-cutting', which cuts from one scene to the other, but I'm not sure if this addresses your question.

Accepted organic length to be soluble in water

With regards to alcohols, the link here --> https://www.solubilityofthings.com/water/alcohols , mentions that up to propanol is where it is 'miscible' , or dissolves in water, due to the short hydrophobic carbon chain. After that, it becomes decreasingly soluble (or increasingly insoluble). You...

    How to do this

I'm not sure if other people may agree, but it may be easier to ask all your questions on one thread, as it would be a lot easier for the moderators and other users to help you with any questions you may have.

Need help figuring out post-graduate Med pathway

I don't think it's a whole year dedicated to it (as they have to balance the current curriculum, but I believe they integrate it as part of the last year).

Need help figuring out post-graduate Med pathway

I don't think chemistry is a pre-requisite for most Australian universities, as far as I'm aware. Definitely haven't heard of that for UNSW.

Need help figuring out post-graduate Med pathway

Yep, I believe so. I'm sure it's 30 spots given, but I may be wrong on 60 being the cohort size (this can vary from year to year)

I just looked at the Eredivisie table (where he coaches now), and Ajax are killing it over there. 13 games and only 2 goals conceded, where the next best is 13 conceded. Must be a great coach to get stats like that.
