Is there such a thing as Gender?

What are you saying here? That nothing should be important to atheists because they believe in the finality of death? We know this because of fossil records. We find creatures in different rock layers. Hence we can say the Stegosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus Rex lived in different time periods...

Do you hold to evolution or not?

There were African agricultural societies. Look at Carthage, Egypt, Punt, Kush, Kerma. Also, domesticated pigs, cattle and sheep all came out of the middle-east.

First Year Mathematics B (Integration, Series, Discrete Maths & Modelling)

Re: MATH1231/1241/1251 SOS Thread Because you only have two leading columns and 3 unknowns, you have infinite possible values for a1,a2,a3. For example, look at row two. 2*a2-a3=3 You could have a2=3,a3=3 or a2=2,a1=1 or a2=50,a3=97 etc.

    UNSW chit chat thread

Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016 Labs are important as that's where you actually do the work. They are also marked. Personally, I didn't find the lectures that great. I just read through the slides and worked on the lab for that week.

Pauline Hanson's One Nation Approved?? DISCUSS!

I'm not a big fan of hers either, just commenting on her policies. I'm pretty sure she's supporting reform to assist first home buyers. She also appears to be anti-vaccination (she's at least talked about the dangers of them).

Pauline Hanson's One Nation Approved?? DISCUSS!

I would've thought One Nation would lean more conservative in regards to other issues. However, they support euthanasia, medicinal marijuana, increasing student allowance, an apprenticeship scheme which advocates government funding of apprentices and pension increases. Also stricter control over...

Why Tesla was the greatest geek that ever lived! A must read.

So the quote from Tesla's autobiography My Inventions (1919) is: "For nearly a year my regular hours were from 10.30 A.M. until 5 o'clock the next morning without a day's exception. Edison said to me: "I have had many hard-working assistants but you take the cake." During this period I designed...
