    PHB Biopolymer Question!

From my knowledge, Ralstonia Eutrophus produce PHB in a carbon rich environment as a fat storage molecule as a response to physiological stress. Therefore I would assume it would be produced, stored externally and then used by Ralstonia Eutrophus when they are lacking carbon and thus retrieving...

    Partial Fractions

i would say its the best way to approach the question but it's still not essential. you can still do it just having 2 fractions instead of the three. the integration becomes a lot harder though, but still do able.

    Partial Fractions

Like the picture: Is this a general rule that you can express partial fractions with a quadratic on the denominator as three fractions (one with the same quadratic and one with the sqrt of the quadratic). Thanks

How much are people getting in the 3U exam on average?

what do you guys think of going extra slowly, ensuring you don't make any stupid mistakes. like typing everything on your calculator to double check? for example i know its not MX1 but in MX2 using the Polar function on the calculator to double check the whole of the complex numbers questions.

    Raw marks.

ha, i do the hsc. yeah and that is the only reason i can think of, extremely tough marking. anyway love the rural bonus points so marks are less important to me now.

    Raw marks.

man that is ridiculous, i have no idea how all you sydney school kids can go so well in math ext 1 and math ext 2 yet the simple recall subjects like chem and physics a 90% will get state rank.

what scaled mark would a raw 90 in physics give you.

Study techniques leading up to HSC

thanks for the reassurance, I always neg before exams and convince myself I will fail but do really well after it. I think I am too much of a perfectionist.

I like that way you think. but probably zero papers for english is the best way to go.

Study techniques leading up to HSC

He and No idea where I said anything remotely like that or if I did, what i tried to say is that I think excel questions and dot point questions are pretty similar to hsc styled questions.

Study techniques leading up to HSC

I dunno, I just feel like the questions they ask are pretty indicative of papers (I have done probably 15 or so up until this point) I'm just basing this off the fact that all my study for the trial papers was the dot point book and i got a raw mark of 96% for the CSSA trial

Study techniques leading up to HSC

Hey BOSers, just wondering for subjects like physics and chemistry if it is a good idea or not to not do any past papers and just do all the dot point books and questions from the excel textbooks. My logic is sure exam papers will give you an idea of what to expect style wise but if you know...
