English Paper 2 Predictions & Thoughts

It really does depend on what you have written and the quality of it; whether it answers the question or not. Ideally though, irrespective of the quality, you unfortunately do need quite a bit more than 2 pages for the module essays (if that's what you are referring to by extended response)...

just vomited on the day on eco now what

Based on what the following says, your previous question would fit in the bottom category (of course, hopefully you are feeling much better in the exam and it was just because of nerves). I think the hardest thing about your question is how they would find the cause of your vomiting; usually, it...

how to cram for biology & chemistry??

See if in between Ext 2 on Monday and Ext 1 on Friday, you can fit in a bit of Chemistry and Biology. Doesn't have to be too much, as your priority should rightly be Ext 1, but at least, when you finish Ext 1 and start preparing for Biology and Chemistry, you won't be doing so with nothing; you...

    Football discussion thread

It's a bit boring, but Barcelona for me. Having first gotten into football around 2014-15, this was definitely when Barcelona was at their prime. With Messi, Suarez, Neymar and pretty much their whole team, it is quite surprising to see their steady decline ever since then.

    Bio rank

So essentially, there are 2 components to your HSC mark: the Examination mark (how you perform on the day of the exam) and your Assessment mark (your internal mark after moderation). Let's forget the examination mark as that will belong to yours, and is solely dependent on how well you perform...

English Paper 2 Predictions & Thoughts

I don't think so because the difference between internal moderation and this instance is that internal moderation applies because some schools have much more difficult internal exams than other schools. However, with the HSC, the entire state would have had the same question for each module, and...

IRP Questionnaire - Impact of HSC on emotional wellbeing (including mental health)

Haha, that's really tough (if only you had remembered to print it lol) ... but great work nevertheless on receiving 19.5

Imagine if the HSC wasn’t postponed ..

It just seems weird that exactly one year ago, I was just cruising through Netflix, having finished my exams on the 9th of November, and yet the 2021 cohort has just started their exams

IRP Questionnaire - Impact of HSC on emotional wellbeing (including mental health)

Completed it 👍 Definitely very interesting and very relevant to the 2021 cohort in terms of how they were and are feeling about their HSC

Would my HSC English Standard 2 Be considered a non-serious attempt?

Pretty much, it's very hard to say so for 2 possible reasons: 1) Your reflection on your performance may be very different to how a marker judges your work (as an hypothetical example, you may have thought you wrote a 12/20 response but they may think it's a 18/20 response; different people...

Just questions about NGO and Sons and Dr Du

Jesus, that's insane if you are able to cope up with 3U maths at a Year 9 level. No wonder they produce most of the state rankers in the HSC

English Paper 2 Predictions & Thoughts

I still remember after Paper 2 last year, I was talking with my mates about what we wrote about using the stimulus, and I'm not sure how, how me and another mate had the exact same interpretation of the stimulus and wrote about the exact same idea somehow (a single mother raising a child)

What was the stimulus for creative in today hsc paper

From what I've heard of other threads, it seemed to be a hand behind a fence with footsteps drawn from the hand, but because there tends to be 2 simultaneous discussions about Standard and Advanced on those threads, I'm not exactly sure which one it is

    1984 Notes

Seeing the ATAR they got, makes sense their English performance would have been very good, so I would assume so

English Paper 2 Predictions & Thoughts

I think having a visual stimulus for Module C can definitely open a wide array of potential ideas you would want to talk about, as different people interpret images in very different ways. A written stimulus, I think, can limit you a bit more on what you can write about.

English Paper 2 Predictions & Thoughts

I guess it seems like Module A was quite a broad question, Module C seems quite abstract but I'm assuming allowed you to write in any style you wanted to, and as I expected, Module B was quite specific as it was last year ... well, at least now, you've officially completed English at a high...

English Paper 2 Predictions & Thoughts

That doesn't sound good ... what were each of the questions like for the 3 modules?

when does rank, hsc marks, atar come out?

In some ways, it can be better getting your ATAR first. With previous years, you have people stressing out once they've got their marks and clogging up the online ATAR calculators (like HSCNinja, Matrix, Talent 100, etc) ... in a way, it sort of eliminates all that waiting stress by giving you...
