yeah, we won't have finished the syllabus, so i have to... even if we were going to be finished, i'd go to school because i can ask teachers for help, do practice essays, etc, if i go home i'll waste time on the computer.

i agree. at our school we have two advanced english classes, and the teacher from the other class spoonfed them. in their half-yearlys pretty much everyone wrote the same thing. whereas our teacher barely tells us anything, and as a whole we performed way better than them, and had different...

you don't get a percentage for life, this is about school. when you don't get 100% when you deserve it, it's not very motivational.

it sounds like it would be a really interesting degree to do, but i doubt i'll get the UAI (it's in the mid-high 90's at most unis, right?).

Re: Gap year [Rollcall] i agree, i don't want to start uni being burnt out already, so a year of exploring Europe seems the perfect way to take a break... and plus, it can motivate me to work in uni, so i can do it again. i haven't got anything planned yet though, lol.
