    introduction for mod c essay

Structure according to texts, works much better than themes. Quotes usually sound pretentious - if you want to, you can, but you better back it up with an intelligent response

    Maths

Depends on how confident you are in your maths - if you can grip the concepts well it should be about a 5/10 at most. If you don't.. well it would take a lot more work to mitigate the pain it can bring to those who don't understand everything, and in that case it would be up to 10/10 (it is...

For a), determine the equations for displacement against time for the two particles and the equation for velocity against displacement, then add them together and equate the new equation to 180 metres. For b), substitute 90 metres into your equations. Hopefully that should work :/

Electron configuration + Valencies of transition metals

Generally, transition metals have a valency of 2+. Don't assume it's true for all metals though, because if they give you something like copper (IV) chloride then the copper has a valency of 4+. In terms of electron configurations, all you have to know are the first 20 elements. After that...

    Polynomials

Sub 1/w in the equation, then take (1/w)^8 out of it, then you get the original equation, which is equal to 0. Hence, 1/w is a root. \because P(w)=w^{8}-\frac{5}{2}w^{4}+1=0 \therefore P(\frac{1}{w})=(\frac{1}{w})^{8}-\frac{5}{2}(\frac{1}{w})^{4}+1...
