    Prelim English Related Texts

Do Pleasantville. It's a really excellent film which demonstrates change and has been used in the past as a HSC related text for the AOS change. We watched it in english last year and it's brilliant for a related text. The cinematography and mise en scene is also easy to analyse in relation to...

    Lion's Youth of the Year

I don't know about this particular competition, but in past Youth of the Year-type competitions I've been involved with, the best thing to do is to speak about what you know and are comfortable and passionate about. If the audience and more importantly adudicators can tell you actually put...

which of these 11 movies is the best dvd?

I hated PS I Love You, it bored me, so based on my opinion I would go with 2 Days in Paris because the title seems a bit substantial. same with the Painted Veil

    Exercise books/binders/notepads

I'm not doing maths next year, but my year 10 teacher told us that if you do advanced/extension you need a whopping big grid book and a normal lined exercise book for explanations/theory and then a display folder for worksheets and past papers. That may be completely innacurate, but that's...

Oh, okay I don't know what to do... My plan was for each subject have an exercise book and display folder for eveyrthing at school. For study I would have a binder with loose leaf divided into topics because I hand write all of my notes???

How many page exercise book should i buy for year 11?

So If I get 192p A4 exercise book and a display folder ( for worksheets what a pain flipping back and forth) for every subject, that should work? I hate it when books fall apart half way through the year, hence the staples not binding

Re: 2008SC SC Results ~ Yep, I agree. The guy who got 1st place for the year in science at my school got an 87 and I, who is not doing any science next year and who got 77 in my trial walked out with a 93... Am I going in to politics? No, but you have no idea how many people have asked me that in the past 12 months. If my brother gets the UAI he wants, then he will be though. But if I do suddenly feel the desire to be PM, I will remember you 'little people' haha :p I always stick to my...
