Going to the movies by yourself

Going on your own is awesome - genre specific though, as has been said. People who criticize you for going on you own have issues with their independence. Confidence/social dependence/identity problems are also possible.

Why wearing glasses gives off a "nerdy" look?

Auto K - Don't they forcibly shape your eye so you can see for a day? Not sure how that'd go with Astigmatism. Ha, that may be the difference. I COULD have done well in school... I just didn't care and though most of my teachers were full of shit. Turns out they were :).

As a matter of fact, I have been for a while. They just seem so... Annoying.

Why wearing glasses gives off a "nerdy" look?

I hate glasses. After wearing them for five years lol. I'm a danger to other people without them though. I don't think they make me look nerdy. Never been called nerdy because of my glasses either.

Given an ultimatum that could change my future entirely...help?

Well, it sounds like you know the options and the possible outcomes attached to them. All you can do is make a decision. This may sound harsh, but he doesn't sound all that devoted to you if he's provided this ultimatum...

Given an ultimatum that could change my future entirely...help?

Basically, don't jeopardize your future and ultimately; happiness for him. If you accept his ultimatum and hate it in Canberra and regret not going to the university of your choice, you'll end up resenting him anyway - that's not a healthy thing. You need to look out for yourself, your future...

Most important thing in a partner for you?

I agree with the OP. Strong sense of identity and who they are, ideally (usually is) coupled with confidence. Also, someone who has a level of independence - Been through the clingy thing. Ehhh.

I find the amount of smilies you use to be completely acceptible :P. I have to force myself to avoid using them every sentence - I'm actually very rarely serious and plain text just oozes seriousness lol. You better, or I'll acquire your IP, track your address, tie you to a chair with your...

The main difference between Zim and the Brain is the fact that Brain is smart... Zim is completely and utterly incompetent and a complete and utter moron - which makes it hilarious as he trys to take over earth. Whedon's work is masterful - only those privellaged enough know what you mean...

Does intellect and the education level of your partner matter to you?

No, not quite. Though, I'm a hard person to embarrass, and I'm also a bit of a smartarse which makes those situations fun :P. I'd like someone who has intellectual capability, not... Well, think 'The Fashion Club' from Daria.

Sorry, that came across incorrectly. Was meant to be for the same reasons Phoenix listed.

Does intellect and the education level of your partner matter to you?

In essence, they need to be able to, as I said before, think on a level that can be percieved as intellectual - to whatever extent that may be. I know plenty of people that disregard this level of thought altogether. I'm sure you all know the type.

    Anyone into photography?

Not proud of my shitty little Fujifilm, so I'M NOT TELLING YOU XD. My Nikon D3000 took a fall... And broke :(. But I guess that's what you get for taking a DSLR into an abandoned power station without it's protective case... Shots taken last weekend from the California Hotel...

    Diablo 3

Apparently it's not as good vs. 1 & 2. Not as rewarding gameplay or someshit? Refused beta for mainly the same reason as above.
