    Study Discussion

Re: studying 4 ur topics I don't think there is a specific timeframe for studying. You need to study consistently, then about a month before the trials, do past HSC/Trial papers. Also, for the trials, it depends what school you go to. If you go to a selective, catholic or independant school...

What did you do all holidays?

Re: FUCK, we all know how to work hard, but how do you Yeah, songs with a lot of lyrics don't work for me. I tend to either listen to instrumentals or asian music (because I don't understand the lyrics) when studying. It's the melody that helps me think.

That's a pain in the ass. The only thing I remember from othello is the quote: "Even now, now, very now, an old black ram is tupping your white ewe."

    school captain/prefects thoughts

I'm currently a prefect in Year 12, and I find it really rewarding. Don't be too concerned that it will take over your HSC, because it won't. Think of it this way - you're only in Year 12 once, might as well make the most of it, both academically and school life.

    when does school start?

School officially starts on the Tuesday (as specified by the official Term Dates Calendar), however as trends continue, Public Schools have a pupil free day on the first day of the term (as with some other types of schools), hence they go back on the Wednesday. For everyone else (myself...

    Best HSC Holiday Program/Lectures

They all seem really expensive to me, cept Alpha Omega. That's free. I haven't been to any before, cept Alpha Omega (which was kinda dodgy) but yeah. Does it really help?
