haha I like HRM, I've been exposed to a little bit at work and it really looks like something I want to get into. I love doing the training/reviews etc at work haha. I want a cushy state government job though. Arts at Usyd looks good :) If I lived in NSW I'd totally be at usyd, haha.

Brightside: I am getting over my horrendous cold just in time for exams (start on Monday) Downside: 60% exam on Monday for Commercial Law and I've barely started studying

Fairly sure my SSO is on crack - she just rang me and said that if I work all day tomorrow I can have saturday off and paid out of sick leave if I want. I asked what the catch was and she was like, uh, I can't tell you yet, I will tell you in the morning. Some shit is obvi going down...

Do you NEED to do maths for business studies?

I'm a HRM major, so there is a significant amount of english/writing skills used in our units. I did do maths through to Year 12, so maybe it would be different if I hadn't done maths past year 10, but my uni hasn't really required anything really mathsy in our course thus far. I honestly felt...

You think you'll miss school but I promise that you won't. I had a bit of a sulk for the first couple of days after graduation, and then the night after my last exam, but that was it. Probably helped by the fact that I got my P's two days after my last exam :D I'm studying Arts/Commerce...

problem with that for me is that they can see that two steps from one smokeshop register is an express lane, and an armspan away from the other is a main register. I'm really digging the idea of seperate smokeshop right now! I am so sick, and I presume I have open tomorrow. I will be so...

Do you NEED to do maths for business studies?

I'm in second year Commerce, and I haven't yet used the Maths that I studied in Year 11 or 12. Economics used some maths, but it was basic graphs, sums etc.

    Woolworths - 2nd Interview

Don't stress, HR can be slow sometimes, especially when they're interviewing quite a lot of people. They'll either call you or email you and let you know the outcome. On a side note, 2013, gee thats young :p

Working/having a job during yr 11 and maybe yr 12?

youth allowance is not designed to help the average year 11/12 kid have money for booze and going out coz they're too lazy to get a job.

I completely agree with what you're saying, but TG Fan is in a really really remote store - I'd dare say that it would be almost impossible with her skillset to get someone to go up there without a super amazingly awesome salary package. Those of you who remember the scenario that...

I'm fairly sure my store fucks with the part timers more than the casuals. This week, for instance, I changed around some of my shifts so that I could cover some of the supervision shifts. Then yesterday they rang to say that they were cutting those shifts, so not to bother coming in. So I...

Cannot believe you actually have to ask people if they have green bags. Does it actually happen? Also, your supervisors sound really really nice - or is that an ideal "how they should speak to you" kind of thing, haha.
