So you're closed Friday through Monday - nice :) I do not get our local council/state government. Apaz its abhorrently offensive to consider regular sunday trade, but perfectly acceptable that we open easter sunday/new years day/boxing day etc.

Its an "in person, don't mess with me" task, trust me :) Besides, I cbf, that place is killing me enough wednesday-sunday, its not...

Yeah I agree. Last year I was supposed to be working 4-9, which got changed to 8-5, then 8-6. Then dead on six we got absolutely slammed at which point our STM yells at me "You're not going yet", I think it was nearly 7 by the time I left. I'm doing 5.30-9.30 thursday (just my normal), and...

    ITT: FML I hate uni.

Haha, I had a 5 hour break last year and I managed to squander all but about an hour of it every single week without fail.

I worked on my 18th, my fave nightfiller bought me the most awesome cake ever, and all the floor staff's tea breaks went for like 45 minutes while we ate it. I did not intend to be working though, I asked for it off and got told that seeing as the xmas party was on that night there was no way...

    Help with KFC!

what did you put as your availability? Obviously they don't want to hire someone who they won't be able to give shifts to, etc. Though this is KFC, and you're young. I would have thought that they would have snapped you up regardless.

Feel free to laugh, I'm sure I will tomorrow. I get that my CSM is under an AWFUL lot of pressure but seriously, she's becoming a little bit unbearable. I just wish our SSM was there tomorrow to back the two of us up. I'm always terrified though that our operators look at me like I'm...

Thats the thing - if its not quiet there's no way there can ever be a casual vibe. We've built thursdays into such a high stress high pressure period between 8.30 and 10 that it really shows.
