    The Woolworths Thread

I'll put that more specifically - she doesn't know how to treat her supervisors like human beings. As soon as myself and the other thursday supervisor came in this arvo we got absolutely mauled about how bad of a job we're doing on thursdays, something along the lines of "you've had four weeks...

aha, I felt so sorry for my poor SSM today. He had, thoughout the day, three crying supervisors in his office, basically because my CSM doesn't really know how to be nice/polite to her staff. He was completely freaking out by the time he dealt with me :( As much as its nice to have him on...

    The Woolworths Thread

I don't think I have ever sworn so much at the tills and safe as I did tonight  Only left like 45 minutes late, oops. nope, HR/International Studies :p It was just a general lab, filled with EDR brochures. I was concerned... You probably spend more time at uni than I do, and I'm...

haha but seeing as there isn't a CSM/2IC/3IC after 6.30, they're quite happy to give us the kids they don't want on regular weekday closes OR the older staff who generally piss them off. I'm sure there is more to it than that though. Put simply, it is easy to spot on thursdays who puts in...

    The Coles Thread

I remember before I was working at Woolies, my local Coles had a sign out the front advertising for Casual staff, and asking for Resumes. The next day, I brought in my resume, the sign was still there, they still told me that they didn't take resumes :| Anyone who can get a job at coles...

And I'm sure that the raffle tickets will make their way back for Easter Week. At least you don't have to ask if they want an EDR card now.

Me: "That is one dollar eighty five, do you have a rewards card" Customer: "Is it seriously worth it for 1.85" Me: "Err, Well you may as well scan it" Still sounds pretty douchey to me ;)

SSM was totally watching me like a hawke this arvo. He was waiting for an opportunity to fail me (almost did because I wasn't wearing a badge, but I turned that one around on him). They way I was instructed on how to conduct them though suggests to me that they actually WANT us to fail...

    The Woolworths Thread

I'm not sure if its in SMARTS, but we do them at least once a week/fortnight. Except for me, because I'm so special that I don't have a MOS sheet ;) Basically, you get a score out of 15 - must get 12/15 to pass. Not asking for EDR/FSC is an automatic fail, and other items can be highlighted...

also, new MOS is a bitch, totally gone back to the old one. And automatic fail for not asking for EDR is a bit much, three fails and you get a formal warning. :O Unless its just my store thats gone completely overboard.

biggest lol of my day: my SM is buying an iron and an ironing board because he's sick of people coming from uni/school looking "like true students" (his words, not mine). i am glad that i was not the particular person he picked out, because i look pretty bad on thursdays generally ;) EDIT...
