USyd comm on par with UNSW comm? pros and cons?

its like $60-70, dunno where youre getting that from timetable is perfectly fine honestly. in many ways i actually prefer it. ive just selected the two days i want off, and done. it'll do its best to do that. just use your head a bit and you can get it to whatever you like, within the offered...

USyd comm on par with UNSW comm? pros and cons?

and the industry placement program. new business building looks quite nice, have a look at it and the campus and then go to unsw and decide. overall, pretty much similar. location/campus/social life is more important than a tiny difference elsewhere

Getting to universities in sydney (guide)

haha yep, wasnt critiquing the guide. i meant coming back, ive come back late from uni enough times that a lack of buses would be extremely annoying

    USYD Chatter Thread

Re: Semester 2 USYD Chatter Thread sure but like ATAR cut offs, by looking at the cutoffs of previous years you can at least get a gauge of where you need to be. i can tell you right now 70 wam wont get you into UCLA based on previous years. 85 might though. But for other unis it's a lot less...

    Economics Pre-Honours/Honours

Ahh okay, cool thanks! Won't be doing ECOS2903 as MATH2070 is a prohibition for that and I did MATH2970. might enrol in ECOS2901 though and see how it is. But most likely will just do ECOS2001 as I'd really like econ units to pull up my WAM as a lot of other subjects have and will pull it down.

USYD and UNSW law transfer 2016

I read just the other day on a USyd website that an ATAR of 97 or WAM of 75 will generally make you reasonably competitive. I know people with similar (and slightly lower WAMs) that have gotten in. I think you'll be fine

Has anyone gone to American Uni through applying from here?

dont think that's true at all. I know people who have completed 1 semester here then gone to UCLA and Columbia for sure. Probably other universities too. I also applied to a few schools, and was enrolled in uni here before deciding whether I wanted to go or not worst comes to worst, you can...

    Economics Pre-Honours/Honours

do you need to do the prehonours units to do honours? obviously there are certain compulsory courses like ecmt2110 and ecos2903 but if you did well in the normal econ units would you still be allowed to do honours? also, im considering doing the prehonours courses. i'm majoring in maths, so...

    Uts/unsw/usyd

Usyd and UNSW look equally good. Pick whichever course looks more appealing, better social life (i.e. where your friends might be going) and commute time.

    Subject Reviews (with PDF compilation)

FINC2011 Ease: 7.5/10 Not too bad a course. Keep on top of things, smash effective rates and you'll be fine. Assignment is seriously time consuming though, you will waste a good week on that if you want a good mark (80%+) which is very doable and probably required to get a good overall mark...
