Your weekend study routine might be too much, but if you are really in the position where you need to put as much study as you can to do well in your trials then you'd need to try to make that 12 hour study routine as effective as possible, i.e. don't try 12 hours in a row, that will never work.

That would make it -unfair- The purpose of the aligning process done by the Board of Studies is to ensure that the aligned marks every year are able to be compared to the aligned marks of previous years. That way it will be a better indicator of your performance as every year the exam paper...

Your school is -meant- to follow the guidelines for the dates provided by the CSSA. If they choose to alter the date, they are still allowed, but chances are that a student will be smart enough to get a good reply from another friend who has already sat it about what is in the paper. Also...

A final mark of 90 in all subjects doesn't necessarily mean their UAC scaled marks will be equal. The UAC uses your raw HSC mark and scales that. The best combination of these scaled marks that will give you the highest scaled mark will be used to calculate your UAI.

This is going to be a hard decision for anyone other than you to make. My opinion on it though would be to drop IT. Note: My opinion, it's entirely up to you. Reason being, it's already quite late in the year, as you know either one of them won't count. Both subjects don't have very good...

Those are both very nice marks. If you and your sister continue to perform similarly expect to see a 98+ for sure.

You certainly do not input raw marks into SAM. Your meant to estimate your aligned marks and put that in. However at this stage it is very difficult to estimate them. Wait until after your trial exams before you try anything serious.
