When do you start studying for trials?

You should be almost fully prepared for your trials through the study you did throughout the year. When you start 'studying for the trials' 5-6 weeks in advance, it should be ultra-fine revision to tune everything to perfect order. That's the ideal way to do it, anyhow!

WARNING to all students look for tutors. Most are greeedy, too expensive.

It's hilarious because you don't know the rates I charge. You don't know the relationship I have with my students. The very fact that I've been tutoring 16+ hours a week for well over a year may say a thing or two about the dedication I have to their results. I'm not sure why you're being so...

    People who are studying medicine

Interesting point, but a lot of people entering the grad. medicine program at Usyd hail from fields outside science (i.e. eco, commerce, music, law, etc). So there will definitely be a full sciences block at the start, but I was more curious about the later years of the course, after the...

    People who are studying medicine

Hey mirakon, since I'm yet to start graduate med, is the course really that much science based? Beyond the fundamental sciences, I've heard it's a lot more skewed towards readings/reports/artsy-information stuff than one might expect.

They are under that belief because of the valid fact that tutoring helps immensely.

Tutoring for a year 8 student, advice pls.

I was simply contending the part of Peeik's otherwise awesome post, where he/she said tutoring colleges don't help at all. That's obviously not true, it helps some students a lot more than others.
