Hey, just wondering what are the best books or study guides which i can buy in additoin to the textbooks i will use next year for HSC. i specifically would like to know wat the best book(s) is/are for Physics and Biology and Engineering Studies. thanks.

ah ok, thanks. so the scaled mark is the mark that will be on the HSC documents when a person receives the final results...

wats the difference between aligned and scaled marks? which one is the specific HSC mark that u receive wehn u get results?

What have been the highest marks in ENG Studies over the past few years in the HSC. have people been able to get 100?

thanks a tonne man. But wat was the highest mark in (HSC Mark) in Engineering Studies last year? Is it possible to achieve the full mark in a capped subjects, because i definately know that students achieved 100 in Ancient History last year despite it being capped marginally

What subjects have a tendancy to be capped? For example, wat sunjects were capped last year? Where: Engineering Studies, Physics or Biology capped? what were the highest marks in each of these subjects (not physics and bio, eng. studies)

Cosmolgy has heaps of maths involved, so the fact that u accelerate in 3 untis of maths should be fine, u will be right

Re: Holiday Plans thats the way man/woman, a balance, BUT, seeing as its probably one of the last holidays we will have, dont be afraid to relax too much, lol

that sounds very bodgey and unfair, cause then anyone can come up and get extra time, think about it, a 3 hour exam, an extra 30 mins. i dont know about u guys but time is GOLD for me in exams, cause it is hard to finsih everything, especially with english essays

we use Fitzpatrick which is probably the best book on the Market, really relevant and some challenging questions. the fact that u r going quickly is not unusual, particualrly if u are acceleratig (im in yearr 11, term one ends tomorrow, but i am accelerating maths, and we have done probaly about...

I have bad news for myself, for 2 unit, my mark drops from 92/112 to 87/112, case some of the questions were exc;luded cause we hadnt learnt them, but i knew them and did 2 of the questions to get 5 marks, ah well, hopefully i can pick up marks in other places

WOOOOOT, MAD DAY, got my 2 unit HSC Half yearly result back (accelerated), i am so happy, woooot, (82%)- 92/112, WOOOOOOOOOOOT

u said u got 22/40, but for each part given add up to 24, anyways, just keep revising and doing questions, u will improve
