yes, it can, top 10 units, each 2 unit course broken into a mark out of 50, ie 90/100 becomes 45/50, so half of a 2 unit subject can count

we odnt have half yearly exams, we only have the preliminary exams at the end of term 3, thats pretty odd....

i remember doing sumfing similar in year 10. we crushed the stuff up with mortar and pestle, mixed it with an sulfuric acid to produce copper sulfate, then decanted the rest of the solid waste out, then used electolysis on the liquuid to get the copper out, made the room stink, hard to breathe...

ah, this dotpoing, we just did it the other day, its pretty tricky, but if u do GPS, or current research and stuff, mayb look at the Magnetic Field positioning system they r trying to develop, good luck :D

its important in the HSC for the sciences to know your practicals well, they will usually always ask a question about a prac, the method used, the reults obtained, etc

i have been told, (by people who have previously completed teh HSC (and have achieved brilliant results)) that writing a generic essay is the way to go, beacuse then u can adapt it. however, generic essays may not have as many storng arguements as a 'question specific' essay.

do watever u wanna do, but u had better change quickly if u r going to!!!

we also had a Biology excursion today, really good, pretty warm though. we went to Cumberland State forest

end of term is still a while away, another 4 weeks, so when u consider it, we are just past the halfway mark (about 60-70%). Easter break is coming up though

english extension is reeally good- very interesting

busy, work coming steadily

i will start things of, this year, Prelim year, i have a grand total of 30 assessment tasks.
