Thats pretty much it. We also have four other stores within 20 minutes or so of us. I still don't know what I'm working next week (ie, the week commencing tomorrow). Though my SSM said he was going to find me hours somewhere. thats pathetic

See this is my perspective. Ordinarily I will do the bare minimum and then leave no more than say 20-30 minutes after I'm supposed to finish, but at the end of the day you can't give me three operators all finishing at 9.15, when they've been on their registers all night and the last customers...

My Dad said the same thing on Tuesday night. I think I worked an extra hour and 15 minutes (closed at 9, rostered to finish at 9.15, I don't know what time I left but I got home around 10.45 so I presume somewhere close to 10.30ish). At least I'll get paid for that though, but I never realised...

    Laptops for Uni

Re: laptops at uni? At mine you can connect to wireless pretty much anywhere. You do 'pay' for it though, it comes out of your allocated internet credit, though I've never had to add any extra money to mine.

Fair enough then. During the day its left in cash office, just at close its put into the safe. Never mind then, I always thought there was some strict policy seeing how particular our Office Cashier/SM is about it.

    Laptops for Uni

Re: laptops at uni? [/B] ugh, that was me the last few weeks this semester just gone. except i still only brought my laptop on the days when i was seriously considering the prospect that my 45% essay wasn't going to get done. general observation: there are NO free computers when you...

    Laptops for Uni

Re: laptops at uni? Just an observation I made this semester. But plenty of law students back it up. Honestly though, there's still heaps more people using books/paper though. But as more and more people get portable netbooks, laptops in lectures are becoming more popular.

    There's still hope

One of my friends got into Biomedical Science at ND last year with a score in the 40's, but they gave her the offer based solely on school results (which weren't that good anyway).

Same with me. Apaz those 3IC hours I'm meant to be covering have been cut altogether, so I'm back to trying to find any hours I can. So glad I had today off. By the sounds of it they got absolutely killed, but meh, today was my first day off in nine days. Supervising tomorrow afternoon...

    Youth Allowance Independence Test

BUMPING THIS Has anyone gone from receiving YA as a non-independent to being able to claim independence later on? My YA payment has been cut in half due to an apparent increase in my parents assets, and as far as I can see from the centrelink website, I've earned almost enough to claim...

I'm not a UNSW student, but I dare say you'll run out of credit points somewhere in that program. Four majors is a bit ambitious.
