Alright then, maybe I'm just being too cautious it seems. (Our head cashier is pretty scary though, and its a case of what she says goes, so thats why I've always done it that way)

I dunno anything about the data, I have always put it in the safe, but tonight I got told I didn't need to. It just seemed a bit odd leaving it out. Oh wells, my SSM can take the blame again. I honestly think that we manage to butt heads over EVERYTHING.

    International and Global Studies/Law

Notre Dame say 85+ for Law/Politics and International Relations, but you also need personal statement and interview, so they may bend the requirement if need be. Don't know about the others sorry!

How and when do you get a commonwealth supported place in uni & HECS?

Its not a hard process, but if you don't yet have one, I would apply for a TFN NOW so that you have one ready for enrolment.

allright, office cashier peoples, a stupid question. The trader goes IN the safe at close, am I correct? I would have thought so, but apparantly it no longer needs to? I'm a bit confused, wasn't the reasoning behind that in case there was a fire or something...

Reckon I'll get into a BA here?

Well I'm doing a whole lot better at uni than I ever did at school. But I honestly feel as though I'm more suited to the uni environment than a school one. Not everyone is like this though, its certainly a lot easier to fall behind, not turn up to lectures/tutes. Even in classes with...

+1 Nuclear, we're not attacking you or anything. Just giving you an idea of how uni works. I do hope you get in though, it seems as if you really want this.

Reckon I'll get into a BA here?

Trust me, if I just went off the subject list/description for my units this semester just gone I would have loved them. Turns out they were AWFUL. Those descriptions are a marketing tool. The uni is hardly going to say, oh, btw, this units actually got a shit coordinator, shit assessment and...

Reckon I'll get into a BA here?

I agree on the party thing...I spent my whole first year as a 17 year old, seriously EVERYTHING at my uni revolves around the tav. IMO, go back to school. You'll do a whole lot better, you'll grow up a bit, and the design course will still be there in a year or two.

Reckon I'll get into a BA here?

Most tafe courses don't go for any longer than 2 years, maybe 3 if you want to go from cert 4 to adv dip.

Reckon I'll get into a BA here?

With either a cert 4/diploma from tafe it is possible to transfer to certain courses, but you'd have to look at the specific uni. afaik you just need to pass and achieve the award you're going for.

    Help with Preferences

If you're above the cutoff for MQ, you will still get an offer for them even if its your second preference (unless of course you get USYD). They do not discriminate between people who have a course as their first pref v their ninth. So my 2c, leave your top two as they are.

    How does offers work?

You will only get one offer per round. It works so that the 99.95ers are given their top preference, then the 99.90ers, then 99.85ers etc. In the event that your top preference is filled by the time they get to you, you will get offered your second (if possible) and so on. This is why its...

    Combined Degree Prediction

AFAIK, it won't matter whether your in a single degree or a double, its more about the marks that you get in each unit that you study. So already being in a double degree isn't going to make your chances of a transfer to com/llb any better.

    The Woolworths Thread

Just googled Warragul - 100km south east of Melbourne. Possibly why they're desperate. Though in saying that, its not THAT far out of Melbourne. We always have ads up at work for roles in Karratha (1535 km from Perth) and Broome (2200km). Those roles must be hard to fill.
