You know, she actually took it pretty good. Better than I thought anyways. Our 3IC was in a pretty bad car accident today, so I have two of her shifts next week now. My store must have the worst luck for this kind of thing at the moment. Also, Everyday Mobile are horrible to be on hold...

Its not customers I'm worried about, its my CSM rejecting the medical clearance. Honestly, I just had no idea how to conceptualise an express bag into a weight haha.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. But then I thought that say people who buy 2.5kg of bananas, and then of course you'd have other stuff in the bag, but really its not like I'm going to pack a 4.9kg bag but not a 5.1kg bag. So 5kg sounds okay? Honestly though, I could have given the doctor...

Yep, thats probably whats happened. Our Sundays are meeting budget, but they are not exceeding the set budget by as much as expected. So we're not able to replace any sickies, I can't have anyone else do tickets in my place (has to be someone already working that shift) etc. Our late nights...

Going to the doctors in an hour, without any managers (already spoke to my SM). Hopefully I'll get clearance for express lanes at least.

    i fucked up

Depending on what you wanted to study, perhaps try Open University or something next year, once you've passed a certain amount of subjects you'll be able to transfer with tertiary qualifications only. Otherwise TAFE is a very good option, enabling programs at various unis.

at least you have a xmas eve shift...i'm feeling a little bit left out here. on the upside, my shoulder feels 10x better. I even took it out of my sling to do reports last night and it was okay. Honestly, I think I should be able to negotiate a return to work on express only, and no tickets -...

Shifts next week: Mon 4-9 (Smokeshop) Tues 5.30-9.30 (Smokeshop) Sun 3-7 (Cash Office) FML. And SSM still hasn't booked a doctors appointment. I might just go ahead and book one myself.

Fair enough then. I definitely function better for closes than opens. Except last night, but I think I have a reasonable excuse. I just realised that the shirts I washed this morning are no where near dry...may have to pull my white shirt out for the first time in almost three years. I...

How on earth do you deal with 3am starts? Honestly 7am is a struggle for me. I'm going to get fuck all hours next week thanks to my SM/SSM. Anyone else get a letter from SDA today? In WA, both Saturday (the 26th) and Monday (the 28th) will be paid at public holiday rates. Surely I'll...

    Rules for Customers

I would much rather use self serve than go through a normal register. That said, I'm not a retard and the Woolies self serve system is pretty simple for me.

    Balancing Work & VCE

I admit I was sookish to work that little. I'm generally doing 15-20 hours per week now that I'm at uni and I'm doing heaps better at uni than I ever did at school. So yeah, I was pathetic.

I wasn't a supervisor then. I basically became a supervisor at the end of Year 12 because they had no one else, and I was semi already trained in quite a few things. All my hours were in nontrade, basically tickets and occasionally cash office. So it was more like 3-6 hours a week. ETA: If I...

Nah, just his jokes are lame. I don't know, he doesn't seem to do ANYTHING. Today I asked him to take two cartons of smokes to liquor, and let them know that two days worth of smokeloads have gone missing so thats why they can't have anything of ours. And he's like, nah, I'll do it later...
