    Not desperate at all, my brother asked two school teachers to be his referees (he's never been employed before) and they said yes. I also asked my netball coach, so if you have anything like sports or other group activities that you're into, ask some of the leaders of that.

    The 12 hour per week thing actually doesn't apply everywhere - some of our schoolkids regularly work 12-16 hours per week.

    I believe its up to the individual stores if there is no state legislation. We used to be min 16, then anyone (I was the first 15 year old, go me!), then to 18 for a few weeks with a new SSM, now back to anyone. Unrelated though, ITS MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW! Total party in our cash office...
