Yeah. Thing is they artificially inflated by providing everyone applying for certain courses with bonus points (courses that were under 80). In a nutshell, people with under 80 got in but unsw provided them with additional bonus points to inflate the cut off.

Come to open day on september 6 and speak to some people from the engo faculty, they'll be able to answer any specific questions you have. I tried asking unsw to tell me how many points i was eligible for (EAS) and on all 3 occasions they told me this information isn't released lol

My bad. Despite this though, no way would you receive 10 points just for socioeconomic status. On the other hand, it is well known UTS provides 10 points for one form of EAS (e.g this)
