Search through the economics section, a lot of valuable information has already been provided. I did this thread a few months ago. http://community.boredofstudies.org/22/economics/317774/hsc-economics-study-exam-tips.html

    Syllabus Notes

I used them as the foundation of my studies although i didn't place all my study time into simply writing my notes. I would recommend you constantly review your notes in order to grasp a strong understanding of the subject, however ensure you're applying this knowledge into past paper...

    BCOMM/LAW (UWS) or BCOMM (MACQ)

hahahahaha, that's MACQ Bank. MACQ uni is in a completely different region of Sydney, except for a small CBD campus for accounting. To the OP, i'd go for B Comm at MACQ. You always have the option to transfer if you want (and do well enough), i'd only do law at uws if you were truly...

    Increasing fees in popular courses?

That's the aim. You're quoting gross income, for most people it would take a number of years to repay that, let alone save for a house deposit. Unless you enjoy renting for the rest of your life (go for it if you like, we need people paying off my IP's)

    Increasing fees in popular courses?

Not a smart move, we'll all be fucked like the USA kiddos repaying uni debt for the next 10-15 yrs.

    Gross profit help!

Gross Profit = Sales revenue - COGS Are you talking about the ratio? If so, it's just Gross profit/sales. Keep sales as the initial amount which is recorded on the financial statement, not - COGS.

    Best coffee on campus?

I agree. Normally when i'm looking for decent food i'll just catch the m50 (i think) and head to Surry Hills, Bourke st Bakery is a favourite of mine and the prices are decent considering how good the food is !

Anyone else's uni experience like this?

I guess your circumstances are a bit different to the majority on here (due to your job), however i'm sure you'd bump into a few cadets in your lectures? That would be good for you seeing as you have something in common straight away, you can moan about work :haha:

Anyone else's uni experience like this?

From my point of view, the people i've met in lectures are good acquaintances however we don't have much in common apart from our course/career interests. The people i've gotten close to have been through the societies, having a similar interest is really good because you can actually socialise...
