    Doubling up on a text

Im not taking the easy option, I was doing it for Belonging and while watching it realised it was a much better option than the text I previously had in mind for Conflicting Perspectives, funnily enough it probably fits better as a CP text, or maybe its just that CP feels more rewarding and less...

    Quick answer needed

I think this is something where it would be better to use the same idea for both - but is neither forbidden nor necessarily conducive to bad marks. Use discretion, but if the individual ideas are solid and have some connection to each other then it should be fine.

    Doubling up on a text

I just wanted an opinion on whether it is acceptable for someone to use the same text for both Belonging and Conflicting Perspectives - the question isn't that it may not be applicable (the film is great for both), but whether its not condoned by the BOS or something like that. BTW the text in...

    Help with Attacking 2011 Question - F + BR

I actually structured my preparation around this question. What I do is I draw similar issues from both texts (i.e. inadequacy of man as a creator) and use that issue to prove that the contexts are fundamentally different, for example the issue of the environment, examined in both texts, shows...

The Loaded Dog: HSC exams - Sun Herald

Re: The Loaded Dog: HSC exams - Sydney Morning Herald Your comments about it being easier to get a job through academic pursuit nowadays are utter crap. How about some factual evidence: Thirty years ago, 75% of people dropped out of school in Y10. Sure, there was less focus on the degree that...

Constraints on Economic Growth in an Economy???

Growth constraints are issues that arise from increased EG, i.e.: -Higher inflation (RBA wants to keep it between 2-3%, EG raises CPI) -Environmental sustainability issues -External stability problems (higher CAD) -Distribution of income and wealth (less equal as EG rises) Also capacity...

How would you approach these essay questions for Conflicting Perspectives?

First one is a little tricky...Maybe suggest that it is emotive aspects that lead to a factual understanding of a text and state that because it is emotions that sways fact, the interplay between factual and emotive aspects is such that the emotional state of the author determines a readers...
