Madz, being a longlife assistant you may be asked to do non-local's - where you scan items with no stock on shelves, and they all go on a report, and you find them out the back (provided you have stock) and bring them out. Also taking stuff off capping (above the shelves) and putting them in...

Chastity, it all depends on the size of the department. Our old LLM @ our store is now Perishables manager at a much bigger store for more money.

In regards to service 30, we say "xxx service 30 line 1, xxx service 31" - both at once :P Yeah, service zero is "walk your department and look for safety hazards" - done every hour.

All i'm saying is that maybe they should put out something which is "best practice" and tell staff how much to leave. Also, customers I find get pretty shitty when they can't get their $400 cash out or whatever.

@4: Good luck! Last 3 days off I had, ended up being 2. Thus, half way through the first "day off" - which I was actually working for, I left the city at midday so they couldn't call me in again. Anyway. Work is, work. The place is beginning to annoy me a little.

Hah, my supervisor sent me to tea, I get up there, and time myself - as always About 3 mins in, I think "I BET she is going to call me back soon" - sure enough, 4 mins into my break, she is already calling me back. I'm like "hell no!" - I walk back 5 mins later, and I see an operator look at me...

In woolies defense, the line has to be drawn at 0 theft, seriously, if they let one person off, then others who do it can be like "Oh but X did it and didn't get fired!" etc.

This is an issue here... That's a champion effort, babikakes :D But the debate is, who is more racist? The one who does something wrong by someone of another race (accidentally or with purpose)? or the one who says "Is it because I'm black?!"
