there are 1 or 2 errors but most of them are correct.

Does anyone agree that q10 in this paper is much easier than that saga/hero crap in 2002

eh one bloody mark for a page proof...
if that came up I wouldn't bother, just state the basics and check previous questions.

the series & sequence qn was wrong.. th e one about the blocks
yeh, he used 180 blocks instead of 180/1.5 blocks.

edit about question 8, oopsie, my bad, i just looked again, he just put the pie from the roation on the inside the differentiation sign instead of outside in the first step

Q1. (c) - There is an error.

The formula should be r.theta = l

i.e. radius * angle = length of arc subtending the angle.

Everyone should post up the errors.

Here is all the errors I found.

Q1(c) is 95 degrees (using l=r@)
Q2(a) is 2y=-ex + e^2 + 4
Q3(a)(i) is 18e^x (2e^x-4)^8
Q4(a)(ii) is 64 degrees to the nearest degree
Q5(b)(i) is 63 (the first term in the AP is 120 blocks)
Q5(b)(ii) is 73 (from 20 + 53, the other AP starts with 62 blocks)
Q5(b)(iii) is 3738 (from 1830 + 1908)
Q6(c)(ii) is 5.6 years (in the expression for t, it should be ln 0.04)
Q9(b)(iii) is r^2/6 (3root3 - pi)
Q10(a)(iv) is $498 (he got $499 due to inappropriate rounding)

Alternative solutions will be available from my site in a few days... (the site will appear on my signature).
I did this paper before the HSC and I just need to scan it.
