I write an 11 page essay right? the analysis is sick. The way i answered the question was perfect. Got 12/20... Only comment: "self-representation was ambiguous" Four word feedback for my 11 page essay. People who had no related text and wrote 5 pages got 15/20:L subjectivity kills me in English.
lol'ed

I don't think you would've answered the question to have gotten that kind of mark tbh, considering that according to all my teachers if you don't answer the question, you're automatically in the b-range or lower.

Hum, I'm curious about your teacher's comment - what do they mean by self-representation?

*sighs*

I ran short of time when it came to making my conclusion so I'm on 570 words for my creative

I'll try and incorporate the stimulus into my conclusion, or even base my conclusion on the stimulus

You need at the very minimum 700 words for creative

there would have to be a loooooooong conclusion

my suggestion: you're better off making your creative a bit longer

570 words without a resolution won't cut it in the exam haha

but up to you dude
Oops by saying conclusion was a bit misleading

I can actually write heaps more from where I'm at

ohh, okay I see

also I never understood those who didn't memorise a creative for English at all and still did alright

it's like the worst thing to do lol
Yeah I've memorised what I've done so far though

But I did do that last year for my yearly exam and still got a 16 :haha:

wtf

how's that possible
I don't even know

When under pressure I feel more creative

So I managed to think up of some random plot and I guess it just worked well

Either that or the exam was marked comparatively rather than against criteria

I'm off, I don't think I'll be on until after half-yearlies finish (unless I need to check any of the marathon threads for challenging questions)

Try not to stress out too much and keep in mind that these are the early days, we still have heaps more opportunities throughout the year to redeem ourselves :)

Other than that I wish you guys all the best with your exams (you won't even need it :p)!

Crisium signing off :rotfl:

ohh, okay I see. never heard someone do that as that's unconventional. but if it works, then sure

also I never understood those who didn't memorise a creative for English at all and still did alright

tbh, whenever i see those Q's i feel like a pleb and can't do much :/
The thing with the maths forum's is they post crazy questions if you don't know how to do them at least look at the solutions and attempt to solve the next question
