Yep i just wan an ATAR of 70+ (enough for my science course). :)
Pursue what you want, there's no point getting 99.95 when you're doing a course that doesn't require that, but always aim high!

Why is everyone trying to get an atar of 95+?
Goal: Hitting the guaranteed entry ATAR for Commerce would be much more fulfilling than the minimum

What it provides:
a) Accomplishment for my hard work
b) Defined numeral which pushes me to work behind my own limitations
c) Family pride
d) Hopefully assists with providing options for Law transfers
e) Proving those, who believed I had to go to a selective school to be a 95+er, wrong (personally, this has haunted me for 7 years)

Yes, this number called the ATAR will mean jack shit when you get into university.
But the work I am currently putting into it is not "jack shit".
