When we get our ATAR's on the 18th of December, would it be feasible for everyone to share it here? Because a bunch may not have achieved their target ATAR and seeing everyone with really good ATARs or people just being happy with what they got, will hurt a little.

Im the opposite, seeing everyone else really happy would make me feel a lot better…because it takes away from thinking about myself and my results. Which is scary. But i mean, but then again thats easier for me to say. I dont have a strict atar goal, id be thrilled with a 70, so i cant say much in that regard. I can imagine if your goals were in the 90s, which is incredibly rigirous and highly demanding…i can imagine it would be much more painful.

kudos to absolutely all of you here who have set atar goals you are working to…that would scare the living shit out of me, i have no idea how anyone does it but i admire it a hell of a lot!

@hscccc, out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on pacino?
for the most part they are negative. i can appreciate him as an actor and appreciate lfr in some aspects but i think ultimately hes a prick trying to affirm his own status as an actor/director. I hate his treatment and dismissal of women in lfr A LOT

My goal for english is genuinely just to FINISH the exam, Im a slower writer...because i tend to overthink every sentence, so what i need is to just trust myself. Thats the hardest part.

Ive learnt this all before, i know this...i know the topic...i just gotta not overthink it.

As long as i finish it ill be proud of myself!! Even if my marks are terrible, because that would be a huge achievement for me. If i finish all of my exams and get a below average atar i will at the very least have the confidence still to say that i achieved something really cool.
i like this thinking

also on the atars - i think regardless of where you look people will be sharing them, especially if theyre excited or happy about their result. If you care about them for more than, what, a week? get a lifee pls! they become so obsolete so i think we all need to keep that in mind regardless of our result
