Hey!

Great job, thanks for the solutions!

One question though. For question 5 b) ii) (which leads me in to getting iii wrong).

Differentiating velocity we get:

2(16+t^2) - 4t^2 (please disregard the bottom for now)
= 32 + 2t^2 - 4t^2
= 32 - 2t^2 => -2(16+t^2)
on the bottom we have (16+t^2)^2 - can we not cancel these two out?

Hence, giving us -2t/16+t^2

I'm probably wrong, I just hope I get the marks for getting to the correct point...maybe the markers will disregard my simplification?

Leading in to iii), letting a = 0, the whole bottom goes bye bye as you can see with my simplification. So I said the particle is always accelerating :( (one weird particle)

Nevermind :( I'm an idiot!!!

Expand -2(16+t^2) = -32 - 2t^2 .... thats not the same as 32 - 2t^2 is it.

My bad.
