in 2006 a question was

To what extent has your personal response to the speeches been shaped by the enduring power of their intellectual and artistic qualities?

Now it says "your personal response"
Should we say "my response" as in the first person language?

Say, the intellectual and artistic qualities of blah blah blah have shaped my understanding of blah blah
Or... XXXX Speech has prompted me to....
