Hey guys,
sorry to make another one of these threads but you're all so darn kind and patient :)
Well, I want UTS B Business which is ~91/92

My ranks/marks at trials:

Biology: 3/42 (88%)
Economics: 3/15 (86%)
English adv: 3/61 (88%)
English ext 1: 1/8 (88%)
Eglish ext 2: 1/4 (96%)
History Ext: 1/9 (90%)
Modern History: 3/17 (90%)

BTW school rank is pretty crappy at around the 260ish mark

thanks in advance :D

Yeah, I wasn't too disappointed although my bio and english marks weren't the greatest. Good luck with prelims and HSC!

seeing this and seeing that you're only estimated a mid-early 90s mark really gives me no hope

You really don't really need a 91/92 UAI for UTS B.Bus considering how well you're going in English, UTSBonus Points :D

The great proportion of your UAI will be determined by your performance in the external exams (i.e. HSC). As your subjects are highly subjective, your results will greatly depend upon the views that the markers hold. Therefore, I suggest you don't take the UAI estimates to the heart as it appears that many UAI estimates are drawn out of your school results where you have seemed to have succeeded. It cannot be predicted nor assumed that your results will be of similar standards in HSC.

I hope that you had a bit of grasp of what I was on about.

If you hold it together, I'd say around a mid 90's range. What did your dux get last year? You'd be looking around the same mark I'd say, that's if your schools marks are consistant. Since your the top of your subjects, you get the pressure of setting bench marks for the HSC exams :) good luck

he does south africa, mandela and indochina

because his from the same 260ish school that we are from

and honestly in my opinion, i reckon u can get 95 confirmed. and ill justify that as knowing alot of the students in ur subjects were u are coming first have the potenital to do well, this will simply benefit you.

and besides....ur a gun economist aswell as a historian!...and ur a definte band 6 in atleast one

lol...goodluck on friday for eco...:)
