i just read some old thread, and they had to go and sit for a 2 hour rehearsal, then 2 hour ceremony, and got a glass trophy - some dude's mum cleaned his with windex and alll the writing came off the back !

yea, got it for olympiads stuff

the glass trophy thing is in february (i was spared from the 4 hr madness by not bein there), and the money prize thing is sometime mid-next year, given by your beloved local MP (dun bother asking the MP why u got it for, chances are he/she doesn't know either)

edit: btw there are 500 such prizes nationwide, so you can weigh your chances from there....

so when do we know when the ceremony is...do we recieve a letter or something...i thought it was in janurary
