Original Degree: Bachelor of Economics (liberal studies) @ UNSW
Transfer Degree(s):

*Bachelor of Economic and Social Sciences at University of Sydney
*Bachelor of Economics at University of Sydney
*Bachelor of Social Sciences at University of Sydney

overall GPA: 4.8 something I think, will probably go up a bit after this semester
GPA for current year (starting S1 2007): 5.5
UAI: Irrelevant for second year transfers

Anyone care to comment on my chances?

Hey guys just want a quick quide of my chances of a transfer.

Basically, I have done two years of my marketing degree at UWS. GPA 5.4, UAI was 88 (long story of why I am doing marketing at UWS). I wish to transfer to another uni for my final year. Basically, a) I think it will improve my job prospects and b) I am tired of the dumbing down of the units by lecturers just because a handful of students don't want to be there.

What do you think my chances are of getting academic credit for as close to two years worth of units as possible? I put Macquarie on top because it had the most generous credits available (44/68 possible for advanced standing) and the most comparable units that I have been doing. UAI cutoff for MQ is 82.x.

Is MQ all that I could reasonably hope for to still finish this year (have no problem doing 5 units in a semester if I had to) or could I have a chance at say UNSW and USYD (mid-90's cutoffs)?

Thanks.

So Im trying to transfer from B Social Science at USYD to either:

1. B Int and Global Studies USYD
2. B Eco and Social Science USYD

My average from this year is about 70, and I got a 86.2something UAI in 07.

How are my chances of getting into either degree?

Currently at Charles Darwin University doing Bachelor of Creative Arts and Industries (Communications).

Lodged a transfer app to QUT, Griffith University, University of New South Wales, University of Melbourne and Swinburne for semester 1, 2009 to the equivalent Communications degree. Yersh, I've made an effort to leave my current university. I'm hoping to get to UNSW, but will be content with any other offer.

With that UAI, couldn't you have applied for USyd or UNSW instead?
