i did 16 units in year 11 last year

work load was pretty easy you just have organise yourself

but i have goen down to 12 for year 12, still wish i did nursing :( that was a fun class and easy subject
Whoa.

I know a girl who used to go to my school- she did 17, staying back after school and coming in for early periods every single day of the week pretty much as well as a correspondance course. Damn insane. She got a UAI over 95 in the end though...

So who else is doing 15 units for year 11?

How did you find the workload?
What was it like?

Also year 12 students who have completed 15 units in year 11..
what was it like? Why did you do 15 units?

Thanks, just interested in what other people think.

(not in an angry tone, as it may seem)
i dnt care if u can handle it or not, but doing more than 13 units is extremely stupid, u overwork urself, u get worse results etc etc

the board of studies cares about quality, not quantity

at the end of the day 10 units of 99% beats 15 units of 98%

I'm doing 15 units. I accelerated a bit in the holidays and I'm currently accelerating right now. My extra 2 unit subject is secret so you won't be seeing it in my signature. I'm going to be doing 14 units in Year 12.

15 is a shitload of units to do, but I guess it would have its advantages
- More choice for year 12
- 12 units would seem like a breeze (let alone 11 or 10)
- Year 12 workload wouldn't be SO overbearing (still overbearing though)

But apart from that... it's a shitload of units to do.
I did 13 and do 12 now (Eng, Maths, MX1, Physics, Modern, German, German X)

Did 15 units in HSC year, it was fun :D

I have various reasons for doing 15 units, i couldnt drop certain subjects, i didnt want to drop others and such. but its not that much work, as long as you pay attention and listen in class, its not really difficult to do. just do well in the assessments and everything is good

I have my reasons.
Would that be personal reasons? people irl identifying who you are ?

Because if that's the case i understand. :)

So how are you finding the fifteen units?

Have you been bombarded with heaps of work yet?:bomb: Or is that to early to call?

My friend does 15 units, and probably the hardest 15 units:

chem, phyz, bio, 4 unit math’s, extension japanese, std English.

We've told him so many times that 5 units won’t count however, he won’t drop down... i think that in year 11- his marks were average (but he done 14 units)- however this year considering he picked up 4 unit maths, it affecting all of his studies because of the time required to study for 4 unit.

Moral- don’t do 15 units... ESPECIALLY IN THE HSC..!!
