Depends on your major. You can do bridging courses, but if you really "hate" mathematics you'll want to avoid physics, mathematics and probablly chemistry.Shoom said:Then will I struggle in the degree if I dont do mathematics?
Log onto the website of the uni's you're considering and read the course outline/degree rules, they'll explain everything.Shoom said:What are your sources of information?
agreed, if you have no ability or interest in maths, a bridging course won't really be beneficial. Might aswell do a course aligned to your interests.wrong_turn said:davo is right in a way. if you struggle massively with high school maths. it means your in trouble when it comes to uni maths.
Actually, I think math is the easiest subject to get a very high mark (but also easy to fail...), the only thing u need to do is just keeping doing practise, after every lecture...Morbo said:Most Science majors (obviously not Mathematics) only require you to do 12 units (some only 6 units) of Maths courses in first year. If you're interested in science, try Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences (calculations in first year are almost identical to high school chemistry) or maybe Psychology.
