Yes, they are opened on the weekends. But we often study environmental management type subjects, and other closest UWS campus to us is parra, which doesn't even have any environmental management. The only campus that really teaches it is Hawkesbury, and like hell we can be bothered driving one and a half hours to uni when we can drive 5 minutes to get the books that we want.

Journals are available off campus access, not textbooks. And some assignments require a certain amount of textbooks in references (stupid quotas).

And no! You can't come over when you have your breaks, cause I probably won't be home, probably be coming home from uni. And I can't borrow the books, I just photocopy or write relevant sections out.
