Just wondering how everyone has gone in their assessment thus far. I guess i have done pretty average havent worked as hard as i can but this is how ive gone:
Maths- 24/35 ranked 5th/12
Extension maths- 25/32 ranked 5th/12
Modern history- 40/50 ranked 7th/20
Standard English- 17/20 ranked 3rd/60
Ind Tech Graphics- 17/20 ranked 2nd/30
Religion-N/a

I'm at 97 for adv English atm, coming tied first. And i'm beating my other 2 extension classmates.

I got a 16/20 for English, tied second with heaps of other people. I think three people got 17.

First in SDD at the moment, forgot my mark but I think it's mid 80's.

I believe I'm first in Music at the moment, but we haven't actually got our marks back...

14/16 for Chem, not sure if anyone got full marks so I'm not sure what rank that puts me at.

Maths I got 98% (extremely, extremely angry with my one mistake... AAARGH! It was such a stupid thing to do!), which puts me equal second I suppose.

Maths Ext. I got somewhere in the 70's I think, a few stupid mistakes that should not have happened, but I'm 9th out of around 20 or so.

Business I got 15/20, and I'm very very annoyed with that as well (ran out of time and didn't answer the last part of the essay, teacher said I was on my way to a 20 too). Hopefully I'll make it up next assessment.

Physics Practical Assessment - 23/25, rank - equal 1st
SOR Test - 18/20, rank - equal 2nd
Legal Studies and Extension 2 Maths to come up, as well as Cosmology.

Ancient History 15/20 - Rank: 2/10
The teacher actually marked this one fairly hard compared to how she normally does. Wierd.

Legal Studies: 19/20 - Rank: 1/12
Nailed this one, =D.

History Extension: 16/20 - Rank: 2/5
Not too bad, was mostly a night-before job, so I'm gonna have to put more effort in.

I'm still waiting on my marks for a Maths test, an I've got English Advanced and English Extension coming up in the next 2 weeks. I've got an Ancient Assessment due on the 28th, so I'm looking to nail that, since Ancient is usually my best subject.

My school is pretty small, so I'm aiming to rank 1st in most of my subjects, because I've heard that ranking counts for a fair bit.

Chem & Phys I can't remember my marks , but yeh lol, you get the general gist that im headed in d wrongg direction lol. need to study more !

You have to also remember that some of these marks and ranks may seem good but it also depends on the school and the calibre of students who attend as to what is and isn't a good mark/rank.

sor2: equal 1st out of around 20+ i think

english : equal 5th out of 98

maths ...not sure about ranking. 38/48 for a 15% exam

modern: 2nd out of 26

economics + english ext1 = no assessments yet.

+ school ranked in top 50.

I got that mark too for my business report too, I did a draft a few days before i did the assessment and the teacher said it would get me top marks. But I had to cut some bits out of my draft because I couldn't write it in 45 minutes. Dammit must of cut out some important points:burn:

Geography - Getting back tomorrow (lazy teachers), think I did well.

Maths - First assessment in 2 weeks.

So far I'm pretty happy, apart from economics, which I really fucked up as you can tell. But 2u english and history im over the moon about, and the rest are perfectly fine...

Because your school's ranking was LAST years class's performance - not this year's class.

Your results could help your school to rank higher this year as you will get your own results not those of last year's students.

Whats it matter what your school is ranked? My school was ranked about 15th on the Central Coast which is really really really bad so does this mean that i am screwed or do i just have to do well in all my subjects and im alrite.
